After having breakfast, you will leave to climb the 5th-century A.D. rock fortress, which happens to be an unofficial wonder of the world, known as Sigiriya or Lion Rock. After the climb, return to the hotel and the rest of the day at your leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast, check out and head towards Digana. On the way, visit the Dambulla Cave Temples which dated back to the 1st century B.C. Early morning drive up with small vans to Horton Plains. After driving nearly 30 km, you will reach the plateau containing 3,500 hectares located at 2,350 meters from the mean sea level. This is a World Heritage site and the only national park in Sri Lanka where visitors are allowed to walk. It is a 9 km trek. On the trek, you can spot sambar deers, purple-faced leaf monkeys, and birds. If you are lucky with the weather, halfway through the trek, you can see the viewpoint known as World's End, a 1 km sudden drop. After the trek, return to the hotel for a late lunch.
